Oh boy. You sure can tell a story well. Even knowing she survived and is thriving to this day, you pulled me in and had my stomach in knots and you brought tears to my eyes.
And brought back memories of similar scares with my older son. *shudder*

I'm very nearly in tears reading this account (which is not a good thing, since I'm sneaking in my friends' blogs when I should be paying attention to the PTA meeting that's occurring around me right now).
