Memo to Elton Gallegly: We’re gasping on the beach
When I got back to my computer I tweeted my anger with BofA and received a tweet from @BofA_Help asking for my info. A few days later I received a call from the local branch manager apologizing for the trouble and to let me know that the issue had been resolved. I explained that my trouble was not with the ATM machine breaking as much as being treated like a second class customer. It's never good when you hear "I can't help you" after you've been effectively ripped off of over $1000 in the ATM machine.
I'm still a little irritated but haven't canceled my account.... the use of twitter and receiving the call from the manager seemed to help in my case as well.
