Seems that the principal and his family were pillars of the community, very popular, and much loved. Then again, with his erratic behavior and financial issues - bankruptcies, failed business ventures, inability to pay rent - maybe they weren't surprised.

Re: From the Annals of Truly Insane Educators

I cannot believe this stuff. First, there was the middle school teacher arrested for inappropriate behavior in the classroom (I've mentioned it before: dropping pencils, video cameras, lewd comments ... I don't need to go on). Next, there was a high school teacher who paid teenage boys to mow his lawn based on how scantily clad they were (he sadly committed suicide). Now there's a third incident in this marvelous trifecta: a middle school principal was arrested for selling crystal meth from his school office and, the night he was arrested - in that very same office - he was allegedly completely naked, watching gay pornography and surrounded by sex toys.

Re: From the Annals of Truly Insane Educators

The having meth and a used glass tube on his desk when the DEA arrived was chilling. The incredible arrogance is almost as amazing as the misconduct itself.

However, I found someone even more arrogant... How about a teacher snorting cocaine in front of the class?

Yup. In Lewiston, NY (near Buffalo).

http://www.firstcoastnews.com/news/usworld/news...
