Couldn't agree more. I think this is an awesome thing.

And it comes just days after OpenSocial. The potential for combining the two open technologies is amazing.

That is pretty cool. These stupid standard/format wars do nothing but upset consumers. You would have ThOUGHT that they figured that out since the Beta/VHS debacle. But no, they are doing it again with HD/BLUE RAY. These companies need to get a clue.
