This is a community that I have always been proud to belong to, even with the occasional snarkiness of "serious writers" to contend with when I tell them that I'm a mommyblogger. I'm also a lawyer, political activist, community leader, and world traveler, but the job I hold most dear is mom to Alex, age 7, and the future of this country and this world. I'm always a little amused than anyone would think they know of a job better or more worthwhile than guardian of the future.

Love this. I go back and forth on how I feel about the term "mommyblogger" depending on who is saying it but you are totally right. It's something to be owned and to be proud of.
