Since your info is more up to date than mine, and since I'm using my post more to keep up with which bloggers have asked their readers to contribute, I thought I'd post this here.

E School News has posted a rather slanted poll.

    Send an email to info@eschoolnews.com

    Answering the following questions:

Was the jury right to convict this substitute teacher?

    Should she be incarcerated?

Is it plausible she was merely the victim of spyware/adware?

Has anybody ever asked you not to turn off a school computer?

Has anything like this ever happened where you are?

Include your name, title, and school or district (not for publication; so we can eliminate spam). We'll post the replies, and eMail you a link to everyone's comments.

Liz, thank you for that... I think. It is a bit slanted, but I'll be interested to see the responses to it.

I've also been reading Frank Krasicki's excellent blog posts about the case this morning and think he should write a book about this. Just outstanding analysis and commentary from him.

There is so much "reasonable doubt" in this case, that I believe that Julie is being used as a scapegoat as a shield from potential parental lawsuits.

If anyone is at fault here, I think it rests squarely with the school administration for allowing "dangerously outdated" equipment in the classroom.
