Traditional newspaper is not dead but the industry was dying due to the free information from the internet and other gadgets such as e-books. The best way for me to survive in the industry is to cope up with the change. Improve traditional news paper contents that people will get interested reading it.

I don't think print media is dead so to speak but I do think it is on life support at least for national and world news. Local is a different story.
