It's interesting to me how you used your experience of macro-photography to represent yourself and your general focus. Maybe that photography has been a necessary part of the journey for you to get you to here, to this perspective.
I wonder now how that will shape not only your life but how you use your considerable skills in photography.
But there IS room for both; it doesn't have to be either/or, in photography or in life. Appreciating the detailed wonders of nature can lead to appreciation of how precious and valuable life is for everyone in this world.
