But I am stuck on why should I do it? Now if my mother was coming over - never mind I would pretend as if nobody was home!

Re: Space: The New Frontier

Hi sassymonkey --

Moving works great! But the only way we'd move is if we left California, something I'm not inclined to do...I like it here!

I am very close to renting a dumpster for a couple of weeks and just starting to shovel stuff outa here. But the saga continues...<sigh>

Kmilyun,

I like the mantra but I especially like the idea of drilling the hole in the roof. That has possibilities!</sigh>

Re: Space: The New Frontier

Oh so too true! My condo is a bit bigger but not much. It too is full of stuff. I confess that most of it is mine. My stuff is semi organized. My roomates are the clutter freaks of the world LOL My new method is oh well I deal with it. I did cut the back of the downstairs closet out so I could utilize all the wasted space under the stairway for storage. Now that is full.

I have considered drilling a hole in the roof, renting a giant vacuum truck and sucking it all out. A bulldozer would only reach the ground floor.

Mantra whilst getting PO'd and trying to organize - Martha Stewart does not live here.

Re: Space: The New Frontier

Thank you. Flylady didn't work for me. Don't know what LifeHacker is but it sounds scary. ;)

The only think that works for me is putting on music and setting a timer and what gets done then gets done. Oh...moving 2 times within a year helps took, especially when one of the moves is long distance and you pay by pound. And moving into a tiny apartment. I got rid of oodles of stuff that way. lol
