odd time signatures: Women, Blogging, BlogHer, Chickens, Eggs, and Advertising

The part that irks me about this and it irked me at BlogHer as well, is the idea that you must be a niche blogger. I blog about ME. My life, my thoughts, my goings on. Sometimes it's political, sometimes it's sports, sometimes it's just cute as hell pictures of my gbaby. So the ads have nothing to do with it.

Precisely. And I'm not going to put the focus of this blog -- especially this blog, which was created to be unfocused -- as anything other than what it is. Does that mean my voice is diluted, or I'm resigned to the back page of Life and Style? I think not.

Absolutely, however, advertisers are now more inclined then ever to promote to their product to a niche market.
